Completion of Cyber Essentials for Caversham Coachworks
The Problem
Caversham Coachworks partners with Vizion, a network of manufacturer approved and British Standard Certified repair centres, which stipulates that all included repairers must achieve the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
Cyber Essentials is an effective, Government backed scheme that helps to protect organisations, whatever their size, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.
Cyber Essentials Plus still has the Cyber Essentials trademark simplicity of approach with an external, independent audit process confirming that the required standards are being met and maintained.
The Solution
VCI Systems were on hand to support Caversham Coachworks through this technical verification process, running through cyber-security tests, introducing additional network management solutions to automate and validate the levels required, as well as with the third-party specialist software-provider to ensure compliance in the deployment and maintenance of Caversham Coachworks’ core business solution.
The accreditation was achieved successfully in January 2022.
