The Cyber Security toolkit is growing
As a keen cyclist in my teenage years I accumulated a lot of tools which were specific to the smooth running and maintenance of my bike. Over the years, my toolkit requirements changed and grew; power tools for home maintenance, specialist tools for technology hardware, etc.
In much the same way, the VCI toolkit has grown over the years. With widespread use of the internet still in its infancy, in the late 1990s we were already offering remote support solutions to clients over ISDN. Our standard offering has included Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions along with antivirus software for many years but our ever-expanding toolkit now has even more tools to help keep your network and data safe.
In recent years, we have integrated a number of proactive solutions which empower us to be more informed and better positioned to manage and maintain hardware, networks and data storage. We are already providing Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) to most of our clients (more here) and have incorporated an anti ransomware module that works alongside your antivirus.
More recently, we have added full Endpoint Detection Response (EDR) providing enhanced security for real-time threat monitoring, and have also augmented the patch management beyond just Windows and Microsoft products to include many mainstream software titles. This all helps ensure devices remain up to date with vital features and security updates.
Our very latest additions to the toolkit now give us proactive reporting and maintenance on the health of your 365 deployment. We get a concise overview of the health and status of the platform along with early warnings of what could be suspicious activity, e.g. a login from an unexpected location. This allows us to investigate in a timely fashion and we can even set rules which will be proactive, e.g. block a suspicious sign in and lock the account pending further checks.
If you are looking to take the monitoring and protection of your network and on line presence to the next level, come and talk to us.
